Separating Pitman arm from center link- how?
Can I just smack the sucker with a hammer like a tie rod? Or will that kill the pittman arm? I just want to put a new center link in, don't want to have to change the Pittman arm!

Try this, I'll post a pic to explain. Loosen the nut off a few threads to give it some moving room and bust it a few times with a BFH. Worked every time I tried it. If you're worried about the pitman arm moving, put a 2x4 and a jack under it to hold it there.
