New shocks/struts (Koni) with old (stock) springs?
So I finally got around to installing the set of Koni yellow shocks and struts I had lying around on my '92 GTA.
Problem is, since I'm unemployed I don't have the money for anything else. The stock, 120,000 mile springs are still in there. I'd love to get some Eibach springs but they'll have to wait.
Am I giving up alot with my current setup? In driving around the ride actually feels softer than before. I used to be able to feel every single bump and pebble (I could probably tell if I ran over an ant!) but now its softer.
With 120,000 miles the car needs lots more. Ball joints are bad and once I gather enough money for the front end rebuild kit that's the next project.
So is this cool for awhile or is the Koni shocks/old springs a bad combo?
Thanks.
Oh, car is 92 GTA, 5.7L WS6.

lol , just because it softened up a little doesn't mean you have a worse handling car IMHO.
