bent knuckle, slipped tie rod?

Just bought a 92 Firebird, was in an accident before I got it. The front passenger corner got trashed, but fixable. The big problem I have is that front tires now have massive amounts of toe out. The car won't even roll (had to use my truck to drag it on and off the trailer to even get it home. My first thought was that the knuckle was bent, seeing as how the strut mount is near parallel to the wheel, but then the driver side is the same. It doesn't appear to have slipped the adjustment on a tie rod, in fact the rods look like they are near their adjustment on pullings the wheels in. I'm gonna soak the adjustment collars with penetrating oil, and see if I can pull the wheels in enough to be driveable. I'm lost here. Are there pictures somewhere that I can compare against, or perhaps measurements I can take, or better yet someone in the Detroit area that could take a look at it, lol thanks

ok, so the struts do have a good amount of twist to them. I'm used to FWD cars where the strut mounts are near perpindicular to the wheel. I think I'm just going to have start cranking on those adjuster collars and see what I can get. I may pick up another knuckle from the junkyard tomorrow anyway, just in case.

My 82 bird was hit in the same manner.
Expect to replace the lower cross member, align the frame, and do a complete front end rebuild. The gears in my steering box was ripped out.

actually, I think I got relatively lucky. The spindle is toast, no doubt about it. The arm that the tie rod connects to has quite a bit more arc to it than it should, and pulled it back quite a bit, to the point that I longer can even get it to turn but about 1/3 of the way to the left. Everything else looks straight, and I measured it to about 1/4" tolerance (real quick measurements at the dealer's lot before I bought it), everything else appears pretty straight. I was able to drive it enough to turn it around on my street, so the steering box seems to be OK. I eye balled the wheel placement in the wheelwell, and it appeared to be in the same spot as the drivers side (of course, the drivers side could also be jacked up, and I wouldn't know it) I get hooked up at the local Belle Tire, so I'll get it aligned as well as soon as I get it back together tomorrow. Will be picking up another spindle from the junkyard, and will know about 10AM whether or not I have other massive damage, lol.
