Hey everyone, havent been around here in a while, had to sell the camaro last fall and buy something more reliable. Been hanging on out the crownvic web sites lately (yup, I bought a boat to replace the camaro!!).

Anyways, I'm having a lil arguement with this one guy who tried to tell me an old fox-chassis Stang GT would outrun a 85-92 Z28 in Autocross. Now, I informed him of his error, and that the Z28 could pull .92 G's and the stang only .85'ish. I know these are accurate, but could ya'll possibly point me towards some sources to back this up? Also, what suspension package was that? F41, correct?

well stock for stock in auto-x, it would come down entirely to the driver.

i beleive that .92g mark that has been tossed around so much was on a 92RS wtih the F41 suspsension.

 

Yes, I would agree about it coming down to the driver, but we were assuming same driver

So you think it was a 92RS? I thought I read in a HotRod mag a few years ago and they were speaking of either an 85 or 87 Z... I wish I knew at least which mag it was for sure... oh well..
