how would a camaro lowered 2 inches handle? better? worse? would it need any other suspension mods? im guessing speed bumps are off limits.

well depending on what springs u use to get it 2" lower will greatly decide how much handling u gain/loose. u will need aftermarket struts and shocks, bilsteins, konis, tokico, KYB. speed bumps are not bad really, if ur y pipe is nice and tucked up underneath thats the only thing that will rub. the intermediate pipe rubbing depends on the Y pipe and the rear hanger

its a car for sale that im thinkin about getting.
its already lowered with Eibrach 2" springs. so struts and and shocks are there already. i just dont know if they did anything about the lower control arm or anything like that.
Im curious as to how it handles without a lower control arm relocation bracket. I guess i gotta go test drive it.
I plan on doing all the big suspension mods anyways, but i just dont know if they should be first on my list. this depends on how well it handles now.

actually i have the eibach sport line springs its almost a 2" drop in the front i think. i have kyb shocks/struts. but ive yet to relocate the lower control arms. i dont know if the lcas being in the wrong location will affect the handling, but i do know it affects straight line traction. lca relocation brackets are fairly cheap and i wouldnt let that be the determining factor on buying the car. make sure they lowerd it correctly, used the proper parts and stuff just to save urself headaches from faulty work.

oh its not the determining factor at all, i was just wondering how nessacary it was to do it at all. i wont have any money after i buy the car so i gotta take my mods one at a time. just trying to mentally prioritize my mods and learn a few things......what else can i do while im waiting for a loan ;o

well ill enjoy piecing it together... ill love the car when i get it, and ill be making it better every now and then until i finally crash it because its too fast ;o good thing is that the engine hasnt been monkied with and its still the stock 305 tpi. the exterior has custom paint and shaved moldings and rims and stuff. so i dont have to spend money on appearance (which is no fun to do, but i feel is nessasary.). i get to do all power mods.
