hi guys

i have a 92 rs w/ 305 auto tran. 190k miles and i'v redone the suspension about a year ago.

new eibach springs, spohn pan hard, sphon sway bars, KYB shocks up front but some cheap brand from auto zone in the rear ( i dont know what i was thinking $19 each).

i just started getting "wheel hop" or bounce/clunking from the passenger side rear wheel when i start from a dead stop.
it only happens when i sort of gun it.

any ideas ?

are you getting a clunk, or is the wheel actualy hopping?

 

i think its more of a clunk, as is something is loose however it does feel like the wheel hops due to a little shake from back there.

 

i would double check and make sure everything is tight back there first. and check the conditions of the bushings.

also, does it clunk when going over speed bumps or anything of that sort? or just when you hit the loud pedal.

 

as far as spped bumps and rr crossings ( they suck here in greensboro, i just got up here from south fla) it makes some noise if i dont creep over them.

 

does it make the same noise as you are describing above, when you go over a speed bump?
