3 point Strut Tower Brace
I have been told they tend to break windshields. Is this true for third gens? the only reason i ask is i heard it from a few 4th gen owners as well as 3rd gen owners. Has anyone had this happen to them? Thanks

I've never seen one break a windshield, so I kinda consider it an urban legend.
I also think if it is true, it's a 4thGen issue. Look under the hood of a 4thGen, and you will notice that the base of the windshield is cantilevered way out from the firewall, like halfway across the engine. Potential for flex, and possibly a cracked windshield. I believe this is the source of the story.
On a thirdgen, the base of the windshield is behind the firewall. (well on top of it really), and the STB mounts to the front side of the firewall. To put enough flex in to crack the windshield, you'd have to collapse the firewall, in which case, you'd be pretty much f*@#ed.
I've run my Edelbrock 3-pt for 4 years, on and off of all kinds of roads, and no problems. Get one, and be happy.
