Milled brakes good or bad?

Milled brakes good or bad?

I was told the today the milled brakes that have been drilled have pro's and con's? Is this true if so please explain. Also I would like to get better braking abliity what are some of my options? Any help would be great

OK, according to Baer, who I assume are the experts, drilling brakes does nothing but make them look cool. Stress fractures can form even if they are quality pieces, just because of the intense forces and heat put on them.

They do help with "outgassing", but if you break in your pads right (burnishing), you shouldn't have a problem with that.
