Koni Sway Bar Kit ?'s

Hi
Last weekend I picked up a Koni Rally Suspension Kit at a yard sale. It was still in the original box in plastic wrap.
This kit has both the front and rear sway bars and comes with the endlinks as well.

The model number is B-1101 and the front bar is 1 1/4" thick and the rear is 7/8" thick and from the amount they weigh, my guess is that they are both solid.

Here's where my questions begin.
I did a search on these boards and on the internet and I can't find out squat about this kit. The instruction book says it's for 82-84 camaro/firebird and I'm guessing that is the years of this kit.
Any clues??

I have a 91 vert and I took the front bar and placed it to the stock bar on the car and it looks like a perfect match. So I'm hoping it will fit when I go to put it in tomorrow.

My main question is...... do I have to raise the tires off the ground in order to install the bars or can I just drive the car up on the ramps and install them that way?

I'm thinking that with weight on the tires will apply pressure on the endlinks and when I take the nut off everything will go flying.

So do I raise the tires or can I keep them on the ground?

Thanks in advance for any advice and info on this kit and install.
