Next year i want to install alstons sfcs. Will they reduce my ground clearance. The car is allready lowered and i dont want to loose much more ground clearance but if i have to i guess i have to live with it. When i bolt the sfcs in do the tires have to be level to do it. I want to do the welding myself . Do i just have to have all 4 tires off the ground on blocks or what . I really dont have any place to take it to i trust so i want to do it myself.

Yep main thing is for the suspension to be loaded. If it put it up on blocks at a level height. It will be fine. It's only when people install them without the suspension loaded (like jackstands holding the sides of the car up and a floor jack under the K member). The body will flex and twist a little bit (if unloaded) then and once you weld the SFC's on you pretty much permanently stick the car in that position.

I have the Alstons and the Pro-Kit springs on my RS. It's pretty low already. Personally, I think the sportlines would be a little too low (almost an extra 1" lower than the Pro-Kit) if you do a lot of city driving and/or the roads are not the best. The sportlines look nice, but the Pro-Kit is a little more streetable. The Alstons only minimally affect ground clearance.
