Which Sub-frame connectors

I need subframe connectors, and i've narrowed it down to either:
The CompetitionEngineering sfc's
http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...65&prmenbr=361
Or the jegster frame ties:
http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...05&prmenbr=361

Now, assuming that there is no problem doing any exhaust modifications, which ones are the best or strongest?

For the time being, I plan to use bolt in sfc's and just weld them into place later because I have heard of the bolt hole elongation problems.
Thanks for any feedback. :lala:

from the link you posted.

247-3111
82-92, 57-5/8'' Length
NOTE: Will not clear factory installed exhaust system
so the comp. eng. ones won't work without custom exaust work.

i have no experiance with the jegster ones. i know a few people here run them. most people here (i am one of them) is going to suggest something better than the typical bolt in ones, click on the banner at the top that says 'SPOHN'

Do yourself a favor: Spend the extra cash and buy Spohn's.

better yet, buy subframe connectors that truly connect the front and rear subframes: Alston.

(also available by clicking the banner at the top that says "TDS")

Spohns are more for corner carving and Alstons are more for straight line.

z28cmr1988: I've read good things about bolting the Jegsters in then welding them later. And I've heard Comp Engineering ones plain suck.

Yeah, you better believe those CE pieces don't fit stock exhaust. they are made for drag cars with competition exhaust. I put them on my car and had to extensively modify the passenger side connector to clear the pipe. ok, I hacked it to death with the sawzall.

Alston's look really well designed and built, and Spohn knows his stuff, in my opinion.

OK confusion has set in here. Is Alston's the same as TDS? If it is the same then my vote is for TDS!!!

if i'm going to just have a daily driver would the spohn's be best?
