options for adjustable rear suspension
options for adjustable rear suspension
Is there any good streetable options for an adjustable rear suspension?
I know that coil overs are availble now, but i really dont like the thought of the weight of the car on some thin sheet metal
are there any other good options? or should i just reinforce the shock mounts and run coil overs?
custom length springs are an option, the only draw back IMO is when i want to run slicks, they wont ever fit

Guess I should mentioned Bilstein, Koni, Tokico, KYB all offer good adjustable shock setups also. If you want to get crazy aobut it there's QA1, Penske, Carrera, Advance...
Might also want to look into LCA relaoction brakcets, adjustable panhard bar and an adjustable torque arm. Spohn has some great offerings for all of this. Other companies such as global-west, hotchkiss, someone help me out here

Sure do...
Front adjuster...
From under the a-arm(1/2" threaded adjuster)...

Rear Adjuster(I put anti-seize on it but really isn't needed)

how much adjustment do you get with them? enough to make the tires start to tuck inside the fenders?
for shows..i want my car to be able to go about 2.5-3 inches lower then it is with the pro-kit on, and then lift it back up to fit DR at the track. Is this possible with the wieght jacks?

Yea you can drop it to the bumpstops depending on which spring you choose to go with. I went with 9.5in free length 850lb/in springs in the front and im almost at the middle of the adjuster. I know PFlyer from this board went with the exact same springs in front but doesn't have drop spindles and said he can lower it to the bumpstops no prob.
