Power Steering noises PLEASE HELP sounds bad!!

I just installed my Power Steering pump. And it seems to be working fine. However When she is idling and i turn the wheels its very stiff. and when driving the steering is very loose, and kinda jittery, like ill be turning and It'll be smooth then feel really loose, and when I have the wheels turned sharp driving slowly, its really stiff.
Also somewhere down there is making a HORRIBLE noise. Like a machine kinda squeeling. heard it before on cars. Not sure what it is tho. Then When I turn the engine off, Sounds like compressed air is leaking from under the hood. Not sure where these sounds and such are comming from. Please someone help me, It sounds horrible, and handles like crap

Thanks

EDIT: Also there WERE bubbles in the resovoir, So I guess I need to bleed them, I know how. But I was just wondering because it was SOOO loud. Like over top of my engine, with it raining, windows up, hood closed. Still was crazy loud,
Thanks again
