i was wondering if there is a difference between a 16" equiped camaro and a 15" equiped camaro. I put some 245 Goodyear GS-A's on my car and it rubs. I'm using stock 88 iroc mags. When i swapped the regular 15" wheels back the problem was completely gone.

any insight would greatly be appreciated.

Where do the tires rub? My car was originally a 1986 Sport Coupe with 15" wheels. I had no trouble at all switching to 245\50x16 BFG's. 255\50x16's work fine as well. You may get a little tire rub on the sway bar and inside fenderwell. That is normal. 16" equipped cars have thicker stops in the steering box to limit the amount the front wheels can turn. It's not a big deal.

Fender rub should not be a problem...unless you have lowered the car too much.

BTW...those are 17x11's in the photo with 315\35x17's. Those did require some work to fit!! Not much of the old '86 left anymore either
