275/40-17 on front?
i saw in the new issue of CHP that they put 275s on the front. i thought this wasn't possible but obviously it is. has anyone here done this? it looks awesome and helps handling a lot too.

Yes. My brother has 275 on the front of his Iroc, and it's lowered 3" or so, no rub. I even thing that the 91-92 Firehawks had 275's all around on them. Short answer, yes it can be done, and yes it helps stick the front to the road.

I have 275/40/17's all the way around, and lowered it about 2". It follows the ruts in the road a little, but you cant believe how much more of that 1LE works.
