GM still sells that bolt...it was a little salty when I bough mine last month but it was like $1.45 a piece.... They stocked them at the local dealership as they tend to rust up and are usually replaced whenever they do suspension work... COuld I have found a supplier for the bolt to get it cheaper??? Yeah probably...but it was not worth the waste of time over 6 dollars worth of bolts...

hmmm I replaced mine with 1/2-13.
12mm hmmmmmm this would explain the need to tap my 1/2's in with a mallet. But you know what, the 1/2 is probably a tighter fit and might provide less movement...
I used 1/2-13 on the whole rear end
grade 8 of course.
