Rear swap

I have a disc brake rear out of a 87 Formula 350 that I'm going to swap into my 86 Z28. The formula rear is missing the backing plates/brakes. Can I swap the ones off my 10 bolt or will I need specific 9 bolt backing plates? I would like to keep the drums out of simplicity.

9 bolt and 10 bolt backing plates are not interchangeable.

the guy I bought the rear from (my old formula) swaped the disc brakes from the 9 bolt to the 10 bolt he put in, can the brackets be modified to fit?

Everytime I look for the backing plates (autozone or Napa) they don't specify what rear it I for just that they are for 9.5" drums, does anyone have the part numbers for the drum brake 9 bolt backing plates?
