I'm going to be ordering a Roll Cage for my RS, and I have a few questions.

Is it best to install a cage with SFCs at the same time?

Where are the best points to weld the cage to?

Does anyone have pictures of their cages installed from different angles?

Thanks for any help!

(Thought this should be in here b/c it involves the chassis)

you're really limited as to where to weld it in at and still have be able to get in and out. buy a rule book from what ever body you intend to compete in and follow it so you don't have any suprises when it comes time to race. if you need a cage you should already have SFCs. since you don't i'd sure get them.

If you do a search I've posted many times about roll bars/cages. PM me so I can send you some pics of the basics to get you on your way, I have a post floating around somewhere will all these pics but it's been awhile so I cant remember where it's at.

As far as SFC/roll bar I personallycannot see the sfc doing much more than the roll bar will once it's all tied together. I already some installed before i put the roll bar in, so that was my case.
I will say that with the roll bar I can stick a jack under any point of the car and it will jack up the entire side of the car-this was not the case with the sub frame connectors. The sub frames just tie the front and rear sub together
A roll bar does this too as well as connecting both sides of the vehicle together. Kinda see what I mean?
