Bendix doesnt make rear pad ceramic brakes?
I'm trying to find a set of 4-wheel disc ceramic brakes, and I was pretty much set on the Bendix CT-3 line, but I've only been able to find the front set, D154CT. There is another set, number CE154, that is described as a 4-wheel disc ceramic set, but it's only 35 bucks for the whole set, while the CT-3 front set is 55 bucks by itself. Definitely a difference in quality, I'm guessing.
Anybody know where to find the back set, or a good, comparable back ceramic set that would suffice?
Thanks a lot.

Well; I don't know if this applies to your Z28, which probably has a much better braking system then my '86 sport couple does, but- there was only a minor difference in the backing pad between the front pads for the iron calipers and the rear pads for the 82-88 calipers. In fact, you could almost have made a rear pad for the 82-88's by taking a front pad and cutting a sliver of metal off.
Might be something you want to look into... not sure about the similarity between the 82-88 rears and the 89-92 rear calipers though, so don't trust this info for your car!!
But don't ceramic pads need to be heated up to work? Maybe they're not made because it would reduce the effectiveness of the parking brake, and the car might roll down a hill?

You make a good final point there, Tom.
As for the similarities, I know the front and rears are quite different. In fact, the first time I was going to change the brakes, I bought four of the same kind because I figured they were the same, but they're not even close. Good idea, though.
I think I'm going to go ahead and buy the Raybestos ones. They look pretty good and they make them all around.
I've had a ton of dusting/squeaking problems, so I'm just dying to try ceramic ones.
