power steering problem

ok this weekend i changed my intake manifold gasket, the first night when i stopped i pushed the car in the garage moving the steering wheel with out the car on obviously. and when i was turning the wheel my friend said he heard a squirting noise we stoped and looked and the power steering box was squirting fluid out the cap. now that the car is running the steering feels weird and the pump looks over full and i know a lot of fluid came out. any ideas on what happend and how i should fix it?

usually when you turn the steering with the engine off ps fluid will **** out the cap ( little tiny hole). Just system pressure, if it aint circulating it needs to go some where. As far as the weird feeling perhaps u got some air in the system.
