I have 245/50/16 Cooper Cobra GTZ's up front....I've blown both my front tires in the past year, and thats what the was my service shop gave me both times. They are supposedly ZR rated....but I dunno if that means anything....I don't care that much about my front tires cause I'm not worried about handling but I was just wondering if they were any good.

 

I ran a set of those once, and they handled good, but wore out fast. Even for a Z rated tire, it was fast...

 

Well they're on the front, no burnout duty so hopefully they'll last for like 15-20k miles.

150$ for a goddamn front tire kinda sucks tho....they aren't even doing anything at the track.

 

yeah mine were on all 4 corners, and the front wore fast too. and yes, anything that size is costly...

 

why get those, get the cooper zeon 2xs, i have those on my trans am , i got the first set in the area when they came out this summer and i like them , they were 125 a piece installed. THey are the best tires cooper has, but they were greasy for the first few hundred miles.
