Need help. brakes sticking...
I replaced the front pads and rotors lastnight and squeezed the calipers back into their holes, well the right one doesnt fully release now. Its almost as if it hit a point and it dosnt want to squeeze any tighter or realease. Do I just need to replace the caliper or is there anything else I can do?

Get new lines too. I was on my way into town in my 82 Firebird and had to do a pretty quick stop. Well the brakes didn't completely release on the left side, let's just say that it got VERY hot inside the wheel well. Anyway, I replaced the calipers because NEW ones were like $20 each, and I couldn't get that side to bleed very well. After further investigation, the rubber hose had broken down and a piece came off, inside and due to the pressure the line was under during that panic stop embedded itself so that very, very little fluid could get by. I ran a piece of bailing wire backwards through the old line, and out popped the chunk. Icouldn't believe it. Thank g0d it didn't get jammed in there so that that caliper didn't work during that stop, or I would probably be a grease stain on the road.
