I will be doing my springs soon(front and back). I wondered about using the 1inch drop springs... but thought how do you jack up the car if it is lowered?
At the moment my 92 is all stock and I can barely get the hydo jack under there. Do you have a differnt type jack?

I've never been able to use a regular jack on my Camaro. What I do is get the emergency jack in your car or just borrow someones and raise up the car as far as you can on one side. Then slide the hyraulic jack under, get it centered, and jack it up like normal. The car will level out once its off the scissor jack. Hope this helps.

its harder to jack it up normally once its lowered. i cant slide my jack under the front anymore unless its on the fender which i try not to do. i usually put the front up on ramps, jack up the rear one side at a time (cant get it straight from the back under the differential).

it can be done just takes a little more effort.

I have to do the same thing Ben does. My car isn't lowered, but it's got a v8 on factory v6 springs, so nothing will fit under the front.

Or, if you've got a friend over who can lift up one side as much as he can for a few seconds while you squeeze your jack under the k-member. Just get it centered quickly, because you don't want to **** off your friend while he is holding somethin' heavy over you.

Laters,
Scott

If your car still has the original springs its probably already droped one inch. Mine is about 1.25 inchs lower than stock just because of the old stock springs.

a couple of pieces of 2x8 work well. Combine that with a good jack and its not too bad.
