Do I have the "performance package"?
Whenever I try to buy brake parts they always ask if I have the "performance package" and I don't know what to tell them.
I have an 89 IROC-Z (5.7) with 4-wheel discs and all single-piston calipers. The only brake-related option code I have is J65 which is "PWR, FRT & RR DISC". I looked at the list RPO codes and there was nothing about a "performance" brake package.
Can someone tell me whether I should ask for the "performance package" brake parts?
Thanks!

Probably not. More likely you have the regular ones.
The "performance package" is RPO code 1LE. It has much larger front rotors and different calipers. If your car dosen't have 1LE on its build sheet, then it has the normal brakes for that year.
