are these new kyb's, or are they already on the car?

my gr-2's came with mounting hardware...

check your local auto parts store, napa, auto zone, etc.

yeah they are GR2 rear shocks that I got 2 years ago..and when I was taking them loose to drop my rearend so I could change the rear.....I guess when I put them on I tighten to much and the lower bolt threads are toast so I cant get the bolt off..it just turns on the threads...I just need replacement bottom bolts....I got them at AZ about 2 yeas ago...

I got the shocks at Advance....the gas-adjust shocks have a lifetime warranty so I just took both shocks off the car and took them back and told them something was wrong with them...so Im getting brand new shocks with the bolt that I need....they will be in tomorrow.....oh well, their loss! They should carry shock bolts.

I got the replacment shocks...they are in but I need to know what the torque is for the bottom bolts. The book says 70ft lbs That cant be, thats just way to much, if I was to put that much torque on the bottom bolts the lock washer would open up and not be worth a damn and would smash the rubber bushing on it. The tq for the top mount bolt is only 13 ftlbs.

anyone know?
