Daytona SR Tires- Directional?

I removed the two rear factory stock 16" rims on my 1991 Camaro RS to install some rear suspension parts. Stupid me, I did not pay attention to which rim/tire came off which side. I called the tire store where I bought the two new Daytona SR tires for the rear. The guy said the tires are "NOT" directional. Can anyone confirm this? I see no markings on the tires ie arrow, etc to indicate they are directional.

Second question, if the tires are in fact not directional, does it matter which rim goes on which side in the rear?. The only marking on each rim is the word "Rear" stamped on each rim.
Thanks in advance!
Matt

If the tires were directional then they have an arrow showing rotation direction. There shouldn't be a problem putting them back on the car. Just make sure you put the rear rims back on the rear. You won't have any problems, especially if you already checked with the shop that sold you the tires.

If your front and rear wheels had the same offset (which they don't) and you were doing a 4 wheel tire rotation, then two of your tires would end up end up on different corners of the car. This would cause them to rotate in the opposite direction from what they were originally rotating. This is completely normal.

The tire will tell you if it is unidirectional or not. You can also look at the tread. It should be symetrical and look the same if you face it from either side. If it is unidirectional most tires will have a tread pattern that looks different from front to back.

Thanks guys for the responses. The tire tread pattern looks the same front to back and no arrow to indicate directional tires.
I finished installing the rear sway bar after painting with POR-15, new poly end links, and poly greaseable 21 mm rear sway bar bushings.
I'm doing the rear LCA's today or tomorrow (Snowed 1 inch on April 13th!!) Supposed to be 60 degrees today and 70's+ Thursday through Sunday. Typical southern KY weather, 30 degree swing in less than 24 hours!
I'm trying to determine if the rear end will shift some when I remove the rear most LCA bolt and I will not be able to line up new bolts.
Thanks again!
