Steering Issue.

Having some steering issues, not sure if this is the right place but here goes. I replaced my steering column last year, and found out I needed a new Midshaft? the piece that runs from the column to the gearbox. The wheels were straight when I put in the new midshaft, but I had to turn the column portion that connects to the midshaft completely around. Now my steering wheel is upside down and my horn wont hook up and my left blinker turns off as soon as I turn it on. My column is also loose, moved up and down and sideways a little. What would be my problem here? Any Ideas? Thanks!

Guess my question is how can I get the column to turn back around to the way its suppose to be?
