LOL -- Tire Pressure = Rough Ride
LOL -- Tire Pressure = Rough Ride
Gotta LOL. Got my car in Jan. New to these cars so didn't know better. Here's the story.
Replaced dry rotted OEM tires. Had Toyo Proxes installed. (Selected based on price and tire store suggestion. Have nothing to compare to, but they seem to work OK.) First 1,500 miles I thought the thing was going to shake to pieces. Dash rattled up and down. Interior squeaked. Was getting honks from cars behind for slowing to a crawl for bumps and railroad tracks. Started to consider replacing B4Z suspension with sport coupe (or LT).
Then bingo. Saw a tire pressure thread. Sure enough, rears had 37 psi, fronts had 35. Lowered all to 30.
Was like getting a new car (again). Corners like on rails. Handles bumps well. A true pleasure to drive.

yeah its critial to have the proper pressure for tire size usually given by the maker of the tire.
like mine have to be set at 37, but i run 40 up front and 30 in back, since that seems to work good at the track for my car.

I run 28 rear, 32 front (35psi tires). And you sure know it when they are above 30'ish.
These tire shops dont double check the pressure after they put them on the cars
