Adjustable panhard bar question

Where are the best points for taking measurements when setting up an adjustable panhard bar? After swapping my old 10 bolt for a 9 bolt I haven't been able to get it exactly where it needs to be. I had no problems when working with the 10 bolt but the measurement points just aren't working with the 9 bolt. I have a Spohn on-car adjustable just fyi.

i did mine just bye eye. If you actually wanna measure then you could set up a ruler against the gfx and then measure to the wheel . But i just did mine by eye, i also had someone else compare so it looks good.

It's probably most practical to measure the space between the tires and the inner body with weight on the suspension. It should be the same on both sides. That's where the tire will rub if it's too far off.

I jacked up the car under the rear diff, put some jackstands under the axle. Then I took a " Plumb Bob " and measured straight down from the outer fender lip thru the center of the whheel. Measured clearance from edge of tire to the string of the Plumb Bob. Very accurate.

I used a Metric ruler since the the divisions are smaller ( 1mm ).

First measurement showed right side at 7.5mm and left side at 11.5mm. Evened both sides up to 9.5mm.

We measured my buddies from the inside of the wheel to the frame rail. Gave a even measurement spot. Also heard of the gfx way, but just something that is a centered measurement will do.

I just put one of the Edelbrock adjustable units on my car and it is great, I can adjust it with the car on the ground. As for the initial set- up, I just took a 4ft level and stood it on its end against the tire sidewall and measured it and good ole fashion eyeballing it. Rearend is now centered under the car since lowering it 2 inches front and rear.
