Lowering Help!?!?!

Aight ive been really into the import scene for a few years now. But i want to work on my bird now. Ive had it since i was 15. I know alot about import coilovers and stuff but not too much on domestic suspensio in my bird. May sound like a stupid question but can it be lowered in realatively the same way. Like the coil over route or do i have to use lowering springs and shocks? Also about spindles in the front im not to familiar with these either. Its a 89 Firebird v-6. If someone could give me the heads up on this that would be great. Thanks

i lowered my car . i did it with eibach sportlines . You can do coilovers , but in the front they are not cheap and you have to reinforce the strut towers. If you can find some belltech drop spindles get them . THey are discontinued so most people do it with springs and then get some suspension pieces to go with it.

I am also running the sportlines on my 89 RS with no problem. My Buddy put the drop spindles on his 85 and ran into the problem of rubbing the fender lip due to too wide of a tire and had to roll the lip. I love my sport lines though, if you are in the So Cal Area, i can get you a smokin deal....
