I want 17's, PLEASE HELP!!!
I want to run 275/40-17's in all four corners, but aside from not being sure what wheels I have to choose from, I'm also not sure what backspacing I need. I know I need the 5 x 4.75" bolt pattern but I'm lost when it comes to backspacing.
I would also like pics of 17's on Third Gens as I have honestly never seen it before. Plenty of 16's wheels but no 17's.
This leads me to another problem, since most of the 17" x 9.5" or 9" wheels are for Fourth Gens I might just need spacers, in which case what size spacers do I get then?
As much help as possible would be nice, I don't want handling problems or tire rub... The car is going to have a 4-corner 1" drop too, so please take that into considderation.
Thanks!

Man, they sure do make the wheel well look empty, how about the same size rims with 285/40-17's? Not enough to need to change speedo gears but enough to fill up the wheel well some more. What do you guys think? Still not sure on the backspacing...

I have 17x9 all around on my ROH RT rims. I have a 275/40/17 in back and a 255/45/17 in front. it is really close in the front but doesn't rub. if I could do it again I would get 17x8s for the front.

I'll be running -1" Competition springs from Global West, with the rest of their stuff for our cars, minus the 1-7/16" F and 1" R sway bars from Hotchkis, oh and a Hotckis Strut Tower Brace.
I want wheels/tires that will compliment this setup in the corners without ANY rub. I hate hitting a corner hard and rubbing, which is why I'll probably be installing custom travel limiters just to make sure, but not having to do that would be great!
From what I've been told, to keep this setup Neutral I'd need all four wheels/tires beign the same size, otherwise I might run into an understeer situation, which is not what I want. I'm still waiting for a reply from Global west about this, as I would love to have bigger tires out back, especailly since I know that with the proper tuning this could yield the best results.
I'm caught in a catch 22, I LOVE filled wheel wells but I HATE rubbing in the corners... I'm just plain screwed huh?
