some parts to improve handling ?'s
some parts to improve handling ?'s
ok well im looking to improve handling on my v6 92 camaro RS,
id like to look into a polyurathane bushing kit for the whole car, anyone know of a good kit? will they squeek?
also, new sway bars, should i look into seeing if i can find one off a z28, IROC, or WS6 TA? or should i just look into buying new ones? if so whats good?
i plan on boxing my LCAs and putting a wonderbar on the car,
other than that, i have no idea what else to do besides these things, i dont want to put new tires on it cuz the tires and rims are brand new, and id like to lower the car 1" iunno if they make a drop kit that drops it that little, id take it down lower, but i dont wanna smash anything up under there, plus i have a neon kit, id like to just lower the space in the wheel wells and increase handling abit, ya know?
btw i have a posi rear.
thanks for your time
mike

I would start out with sub-frame connectors (kenny or spohn are good) and an STB (Hotchkis or edelbrock are good). Now you will have a good, solid platform to work off of. Then you could look into moving on to the poly. bushings all the way around. The eibach pro-kit may be good for you...won't lower it TOO much. Then maybe some new shocks and struts (even the cheapest shocks/struts you can get are probably better than stock). If you are serious, then maybe new LCAs and brackets, and panhard bar. Have fun!
