325/50/15 ?????

Has anybody stuffed a 325/50/15 under the rear of a thirdgen without a mini-tub? I have no problems rolling the fender lip or pounding in the inner wheel well if thats what it will require. Right now I'm running Nitto 275/50/15 and they fit perfect, no rubbing anywhere at all. And I did not have to roll the lip or massage the wheel wells. But the 325 is 1.8" wider, and 1.5" taller. Thanks in advance for any insight you may have.

Thanks for the reply. The 325 wouldn't be too much wider than the 315/35/17. Now I have to consider the height. The 325/50/15 is just under 28" tall. The 315/35/17 is a 26" tall tire. I wonder if that would get me into any additional fitment problems?

if you centered it from backspacing perfectly.
had a panhard rod that centered the axle perfectly and never flexed.

rolled the lip.

bashed in every part of the fenderwell that it might hit (several places)

then, it MIGHT fit.

the 315s bearly fit. and i doubt a taller tire would work.

Well, if I can get a killer deal on the 325's then I'll try it. Otherwise I'll just stick with 275/50/15. Its a shame nobody has 295/50/15 drag radials.
