Is the Spohn 1 5/16 swaybar=Hotchkis/GM 36mm ones?

I noticed that Spohn's front swaybars are only 33mm (1 5/16) but they are 4130 chrome moly. I read an old post by Lon from TDS saying that the strength of 41xx steel is higher than 10xx steel. Does this mean that a 4130 33mm swaybar is just as strong(er) than a GM/ Hotchkis 36mm hollow front?

I want Spohn sway bars, but I was worried that there were better ones out there(bigger ones).

Is the 33mm Spohn SB equivalent or better than the 1LE 36mm?

bigger isn't always better.

the spohn bars have a higher rate than the 1le. but be wary of falling into the trap that a larger bar is going to perform better.

the most important thing is that the bars are matched, thats why spohn sells a set
