power steering?

my hardlines for the power steering are causing a problem with the install of my becool radiator. anyone ever have to disconect them and bend slightly for clearance?

i don't want to but if i don't i'm worried that over time through vibration the hardlines will cause a problem rubbing against the radiator.

I have heard this happing to others also. I am also looking at purchasing the BeCool 700hp kit (fans and relays) for the car. I had a brass 4 core custom made for it about about 4 years ago and its already going to sh*t. I've had a BeCool in one of my other cars for about 6 years and it was the best investment I ever made for it. Could kick myself for going the cheap route on the Camaro the first time round.

I would agree its a good idea to reroute them if possible, They will wear through.

I've done it, as long as thier are no crimps in the bends you make, it works perfect.

may i ask some suggestions on what the best way would be?

i was thinking about just disconnecting them from the shaft where i can easily get to them. really only one of the lines is bothering me. then use a typical tube bender for that size and just get it out of the way.

what do you guys think? i just don't want to have problems down the road with kinked or broken lines and wearing through the radiator would drive me nuts if i left it alone...

You seem not not spare any expence in doing thing right. Might I suggest some Earls fittings and braided hoses- would look trick.

Honestly, I just bent them with my hand. I had to make a little bit of clearance on the box and a pretty big amount near the pump for it to clear with my hydraulic lines. Im sure you have something less barbaric to use though.
