28" tireswith 15's w/4 1/2" back space?

I was thinking about stepping up to a larger tire in the rear maybe 28" tall or 29's if they would fit ,but I dont want them to hit the wheel well. I have been looking at afew different sizes but not exactly sure how BIG I can go without having fitment problems.
I'm currently running 15X8 w 4 1/2" back space
Here's afew sizes I've been checking out.
Mickey Thompson Sportsmans 28 x 10.50-15
M/T ET Street Radials 275/60r15's
M/T ET street size 28x11.5-15

I have done a search but didn't find that much info.
Any suggestions would be great.

I have the same size rims as you 15x8 w/ 4.5in backspacing. I currently have 26x10.5 ET streets and would like to go with a bigger tire. From the info I have been given a 28x11.5 tire would most likely require some hammering on the inner fender well to fit without rubbing..but nothing too major.

a 28" tire will require the use of a hammer...you don't have to do too much banging of the inner wheel well though. a buddy of mine had to do it on his 95 Z when he put a 27" tire on and now has gone to the 28" tire which required a little more banging.

Thirdgeniroc: M/T ET Street Radials 275/60r15's
M/T ET street size 28x11.5-15

Those 2 tires right there are both 28x11.5...the 275/60 equates to the same size as the ET Street.

I ran 28x10.5 ET Drags on a 15x8 rim with 5.5" backspacing, they hit the front of the wheel well. Nothing a hammer couldnt fix. I now have 27x10.5 Hoosier QTP's and they fit with TONS of room
