Offsets and wheel sizes...

I've pretty sure I've decided on a wheel for my IROC - which will not be running for another year, but still, I want wheels...

Anyway, my question is this. From what I gather, most people who use an 18" wheel prefer 18x8 in front and 18x9.5 in the rear.

Aside from looks, is there any pro/con to going 9.5 all the way around? Is there really a downside?

With regards to offset/backspacing.......

I want the wheel/tire to come just to the edge of the wheel wheels, basically where the well flares out, I want the tire to stick out that far as well. I'll try and find a pic later. What kind of offset/backspace would I need to order to achieve that look?

This is the rim's available specs in 18": See anything that'd work?

wow thats acool looking rim. i like the mechanical look to it with the piece that seems to do something in the background, very interesting nice choice. as for width i think a 9.5 on frint will hit when turning. everything i have red here seems to say 8" fronts.
