will these fit on my 89 rs? im sure that rim size and backspacing would help but there aftermarket rims and i dont have time to pull them off but overall shoudl they fit?

yes they will fit but its going to look lke you have truck tires on your camaro man.... dont do it mango with something like 235/60/15 that size i think is the best for 15 inch rims on are cars

My brother had some Goodyear gatorbacks on is 78 Firebird 7" rims. :hail: It looked pretty badass and mean as ****.

These are the 265 50 15s that were on my car when I got it. Unfortunately it's in the air so you can't really tell how it looks.

I didn't care for the way the sidewalls bulged out. If the rim was widened by about an inch or so it wouldn't be so bad.

I have 265's on the rear rims. They look pretty good, I think. They came with the car and I'm keeping them for as long as they last. They fit well and don't rub or anything.

Oh, and I got some stupid ugly 205's on the front. :shrug:

Sounds familiar, that's how my car was. That used to be the way to lower the front of the car and give it the raked look, front fender gaps be damned.

265/50r15 is going to be just about the same OD as the 235/60r15's. But the tire is definetely going to be wider
I'd recommend 15x8's, at least.
Now what about 295/50r15's anybody got them on there car? And what backspacing do you use to keep them from rubbing the lip of the fender?
