shocks spring matching
shocks spring matching
Hi,
How do you guys find out which shocks can dampen which springs?
I have Eibach Pro-Kit right now with Bilstein sports, but the Pro-Kit is a bit soft and has too much body roll and nose dive on hard braking. I'm going to get some stiffer shocks in the front with linear shocks in the rear (not sure on the rate just yet). Basically, I want to know how much spring can the Bilsteins handle, or if I need to get it revalved or if I need to get rid of them and go with Koni.
I'm not looking for opinions on which springs or shocks are better. I want to know how to determine how to match shocks and springs, be it an equation modeling the shocks and springs or something like 800# springs need x amounts of rebound which is only available in zz shocks.
Thanks!
