275/35/17?

Has anyone used 275/35/17 tires on their car? I know that 40 series is a better fit, and 35's will be about an inch smaller in diameter, but I have a problems. My tires rub pretty bad on the back of the wheelwell, and I figure the .5 inch clearance I will get will be plenty.

The only problems I can see are a small increase in RPM's, .5 inch more fender gap (eew) and .5 inch less ground clearance (bad).

I don't think anyone makes a tire in that size. What wheel and offset/backspacing are you rinning. Lots of people run 275/40r17 with no problems, including me.

I was going to get ROH Snypers (17x9). My 245/50/16 tires already rub when turning, so I thought the 275's would only get worse.
