tire size

Finally starting my third gen build that has been years in the making. Car is going to be primarily street/strip. Want to know what size tires will fit under the rear end without modifing the wheel wells. Fronts too if anyone knows. Thanks

I have successfully run P275/50R15 on my car with no rubbing. You could probably run P295s w/ spacers.

165R15 for the front if you run 26" tall tires out back
205 75 15 for the front if you run 28" tall tires out back

good uniform look that way.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping to run a 265-275 on the street and atleast a 28x10 with skinnies up front for the track. Sounds like I should be ok.

A lot will be based on what springs you use along with your wheel backspacing.

I have hotchkis springs that lowered the car 3/4" which I will most likely get a lot of that back when I start cutting weight. As for the rest that's why I posted. see what has worked for some of you guys.

if you intent on running a 28x10 slick, be careful with your backspacing. 5-5.5 works best, but EVERY car is different, no matter if it is close to the same setup.

goodluck!
