tubular a arm bushings? help!
searched and searched. NOTHING. is everyone happy with those clear/white looking bushings that come with the a arms?
im almost set on doing a full front end kit, BUT:
a friend of mine and i just put a set of LCA's on his 95z.... has these same type bushings.
anytime you hit a bump or a dip in the road, it sounds like someone is beating the bottom of the car with a wrench!
suggestions and opinions please. i dont want to waste 600 bucks and a weekend full of work to be dissatisfied.
how quiet is your tubular front end?
THANKS! :hail:

stock iroc spring, PA a arm, and some cheap bushings they come with.
ive noticed some people complain of "rattling" action after the a arms installed. had a set of LCA's do this as well. its the bushings they incorporate. they are designed for a 1/2 bolt and the stocks are 12mm. what im gonna do is hone out the holes in the PA k member to accept 1/2 bolts and use locknuts to adjust the load on them. ive also got some grease fittings in the bottom of the a arms now, so hopefully nothing will leak or sqeak. im also gonna use rubber isolators on both sides of the spring, and contact cement some rubber stripping on the sides of the a arm perches.
ill have everything buttoned up by next weekend. ill post up with a flame, or great results. not sure which.
