To lower or not to lower?
hi guys, as always Im here for some good advice...I got the kyb gr2's (shocks/struts) on the way..I know with kyb people either love em or hate em, they fit my budget, and Ive been running the sense-a tracks, and I wanna try the kyb's...I know I also need springs..My big question is whether or not to go with the lowering springs..Im looking at Spohn and see the three choices: eibach, moog, and B&G.. Im thinking that its either gonna be the Moogs or the Eibach springs...But I DONT want to have to purchase an adjustable panhard bar..Some people say if I go with Eibachs, Ill need one... In short, I dont want to spend a small fortune on the consequences of lowering, In reality the Eibachs wouldent really lower my car, considering the existing state of its sag, does that mean I WONT need to get a panhard bar??Also I want to get new poly bushings for the kybs..Which bushings are these, or what are they called?
Any other bushings do you think I should get, considering that Im gonna replace the shocks and springs......
All opinions and suggestions are appreciated...
In short, this car is a daily driver that needs shocks and springs..I drive 88 miles one way to work...Mainly all turnpike/highway miles...
Again Guys, thanks

i just put the sportlines on my car, and it changed the stance so much, i thought the car was ugly until i put these on....i don't have an adjustable panhard yet, i just threw the springs on, and there is a lot of vibration at around 120+, but that'll get fixed this winter....eibach also has the prokit, which only lowers 1 inch..and keeps a more of a stock feel to it....it does change the stance and performance a bit, but not as much as the sportkit...if i were you i would get the prokit, its just enuf, but not too much....its a very user friendly spring...

I have the pro-kit and stock panhard, its fine so far, I just haven't gotten around to buying a panhard bar yet. The pro-kit has my car as low as I could realistically drive. Lower and I'd scrape the airdam more than likely. I think it would look good droped more though. When I first dropped it, I didn't really notice the difference in its stance, but the logner you've had them, the more it is noticeably lower.

the pro kit is what I think I really want..I figure 1 inch lower than stock is not really that big a deal..It does kinda make me wonder though, I hear guys talking about rear wheel hopping during braking, after they lower (w/o changing the PHB) and in thinking about it, Im like, I have rear drum brakes, and even after I adjust them, they dont really play a huge factor in stopping the car, I mean Im sure they help, but mainly its the fronts that do most of the work...And as far as 120 mph (above post), I live in NJ and have little desire go quite that fast..100 down the turnpike is fast enough for me...Now I just need to pursuade wifey that this is what "we" need... Wish me luck men
