rear spring isolators in the front???
put the eibach drag launch kit on the car and it sat WAY TO HIGH. cut a 1/2 coil and nothing, another half and it dropped way too low.
anyone ever use the new style all rubber 4th rear srping isolator in the front?
thinking of ordering a set, cause i know there is about a 3/4 inch different, which would suit me fine. they are rubber, ill make um fit?
whatcha think?

On the front? Have you seen these things? No way...
By your description, I will assume that you didn't have the spring seated fully in the upper spring perch when you installed them and now you've cut way too much off the spring...I'd get another set of front springs and start over.

You are basically defeating your purpose by cutting the springs- I'll explain-
When you buy springs for Drag race launching. what you want is a soft coil spring that has mulitple coils that will compress at ride height but unload under throttle. When you cut those coils, example from 10 free coil loops to 9 free coil loops to lower the car, what you have done is inceased the spring rate and frequency rate. The car will not unload and lift the nose as much with less coils.
What you need to do is buy a softer spring rate that is the same height as the one you originally biought before you cut it. Even though it is the same height, a softer (thinner diameter coilwire) will compress more giving a lower ride height while retaining the maxium amount of coils for launch unload.
The cut coils and resulting higher frequency rate will extend the coil quicker and recoil into compression faster (and back and forth...) and will settle the nose of the car back down faster as you are still getting traction and wanting it to remain extended. You want to retain that lower frequency rate and have a slower progressive lift, not an up then slam back down effect.

they transfer weight awesome still and ride quite smooth. im after a cheap fix here not spend 200+ on new springs. if i can get the front end up a bit, ill be a happy camper.
just dont know if the rear isolator will fit on the front sping.
figured id check before i waste a buck.
