Keep same 16x8 rim size all around?
I'm in need of new rear tires and want new rims too.
My question is, I have the stock 16x8's all around now and would like to up the rears to 275's.
Going with some BFG's tires in back, but would like to keep the 16's up front as the tires are new.
Can I keep the fronts with the 16's and put 17's in the rear only? Or will that throw off performance and driveability at the track/street?
Do I even need 17's in the rear to have a 275 tire? Hope that made sense. ..

9.5" rim is the ideal width for a 275 tire but everyone's different.
