spring help!
hey i just bought some pro kit springs for my 86 t/a. The car is all original with around 50,000 miles. when i installed them i used the stock spring retainers because they weren't cracked or ripped and looked to be in good condition. After i got them on my car sits like 2 1\2 or 3 in. lower in the back and and 1\4 to1\2 in. higher in the front! My car looks retarded and i cant find a reson why it does this. It also sits about 1/2 in. higher on the passenger side. Eibach said to drive the car hard for 10 miles. 30 miles of hard driving later it sits the same. This is really pissing me off can anyone help?

Re: spring help!
Did you index the springs correctly in the control arm?

i had a similar problem with the front being in wrong
it sat sooo high like an S10 truck
make sure the top of the springs are seated up flush against the top and the bottom coil end sits inbetween the two drain holes on the A-arm. my one spring was indexed on the bottom A arm right but the top was crooked and was resting againts the cone shaped thing up top. i just took it out and made sure it was in right.
the rears also need to be seated correctly. make sure they sit up in the top seat area correctly. there is a spot in the top where the end of the coil must seat. if you get under there and look up with a bright flashlight you can see the spot where that coil must be seated against.
