89 iroc caliphers
Has anyone swapped there 88 rear disc caliphers for 89 IROC caliphers?
I remember reading that the 88 were weaker than the 89-92.

It's not that the older cast-iron Saginaw calipers are "weaker" than the PBRs; they merely suck.
You have to change out the backing plates, the parking brake cables, the lines on the rear end, the master cyl, the rotors, and the proportioning valve, in addition to the calipers themselves. Of course, to change the backing plates, you have to pull the axles.
Other than that, they're a bolt-on.
