bent control arm?

How would i check to see if my front control arms are bent. I just got the car back from the alignment shop after a full front end rebuild. the driver side wheel sits noticeably further inward in the wheel well (towards the engine) than the passenger side. there is also less suspension travel on the drivers side when all load is taken off the front. eyeballing it tells me that the control arm is bent upward and pulling the wheel back towards the engine compartment, but i would like to know if there is a precise way to measure for sure before i start tearing everything back apart.

That side would also sit significantly lower then the other side. For that matter, to make enough of a difference to see the wheel location difference you should be able to see the bend in the control arm
