I have a 88 GTA with the standard gold spoke/web type rims, just noticed that the outer offset on the front wheels is wider than the rears, Talking about the crome bit. Is this right or has some tool swapped them when they have rotated tyres.

I bought it like this so please dont laugh if this is the case.

 

Front and rear rims have different offsets... if you want to know why the offsets are different do a search....

 

Not sure about the Gta rims. But i think your okay, My 20 slot 16x8's have more "dish " on the rears.
