15" rims on disc brake 9-bolt??

Has anyone run into this problem? I want to run 15 rims with drag radials in the rear of my 89 formula. it has the borg warner "aussie" rear end. The problem Im having is that the calipers rub the back of the rim. (15X8 4.5 backspace) I could probably grind down the caliper fins to make them fit, but what is the correct way to do it? will a 15X8 5.5 bs help?

I can fit the OEM 15x7's on the rear of my IROC, no problem. It also has a 9 bolt rear with PBR's. I'm not sure what BS the stock 15x7's use, sorry.

Please don't grind the caliper. First off, it's not really good to destroy a perfectly good part; Secondly, it's not safe to take away from the safety of your brakes. Install a thin spacer from a rear drum car (Mine is a '91 RS) and put those on between the wheels and rotors, that should do it.
